Two of the most important things you need to know about internet marketing
There are many thousands of internet marketing guru’s out there all proclaiming they have the next best online marketing system that will have hordes of hungry visitors flooding to your website. Now to be honest whilst there are excellent courses available, there are many that are either totally useless or in some cases downright scams. WebDesignGoldmine.com is all about providing you with as much good quality information for building successful websites as we can and all for free. Now we may promote a particular course now and then but only if we feel that its really worth the investment and in virtually all cases this will be something we have tried and tested.
I’d like to focus on one of the most basic but important lessons you’ll ever learn in internet marketing in this blog entry. One of the key phrases you’ll here time and time again is “Knowledge is power” but what this means in reality, and I can’t stress how important this is, knowledge applied is power. Don’t be caught up in what we call information overload. This is a situation where you are constantly studying one course after another as there is so much hype and well written sales letters out there that you can easily be caught up in a perpetual state of analysis. During this entire time you’ll be earning nothing because your not taking action.
Now don’t get me wrong, you need to learn the trade and well thought out planning is critical. However it’s more important to stick with an internet marketing system and then test it. Don’t be tempted to go out and purchase another system that again promises the earth with even less effort. Believe me there is work involved with internet marketing and there are no get rich quick schemes. Period!
So when starting out the most important piece of advice I can give you is to apply the knowledge you have and take action. I’ll be talking more about avoiding some of the pitfalls involved with making money online as well as the 80/20 principle in my next blog entry.
In the meantime I wish you every success!
